An online Motivational Programme was conducted on 25th November, 2020 by the Directorate of Navy Education to apprise the students of Classes IX - XII with the life of an Indian Naval Officer and the various career opportunities this multidimensional branch of Armed Forces offers. The session commenced with a short video presentation on Navy - A Way of Life that focussed on how along with safeguarding the nation's maritime borders, it carries out multiple humanitarian missions in times of need.

Lt. Cdr Sandeep Rajendran and Lt. Cdr M Swetha acquainted the students with the organisational structure of the Indian Navy. They were also informed about different branches of this dignified profession such as Education, Executive, Aviation, Engineering, Legal and Medical which students can choose as per their interest and capability. The information regarding the colleges, admission criterion, and the duration of the courses was also shared with the students. This was followed by an exhaustive interactive session to address students' queries.
